Why this short matters

A stolen moustache gives the miniature detective story an immediately legible object of pursuit. The potato investigator, culprit and alibi turn the joke into a connected five-scene caper. Sampled playback shows the detective examining a bedroom with a magnifying glass, preserving the crime-film vocabulary inside the absurd character design.

The production reply makes the small story useful as a craft example. Reattaching the same three reference sheets and maintaining the moustache’s recognisable features supply continuity across scenes. Its complete brief narrative is the reason for inclusion; the release is distinct from a vendor capability demonstration. Current playback and artwork were checked.

01

Generation and continuity

Vołkaŭ names Pika H3 Flex Reference-to-Video, a 768p draft and audio stems enabled. Three clay character sheets accompany every scene; the moustache’s handlebar shape, eyes and tiny legs act as continuity anchors.
