Why this work matters
A ferrywoman takes an egg out of the water and brings a private act of care into conflict with the needs of a village. The second film jumps forward twenty years and follows Teva as she hides another creature. The continuing setting gives the aftermath of the first story a place in the second, through the landing, the Old Wall and the habits of people living with the river.
The studio publishes Reedlands maps and creature concepts and discloses generated visuals and voices in the first release. Exact models, named crew and cost are undisclosed.
