Why this film matters
Kill The Rabbit pairs a conventional pipeline, with motion capture, 3D level design and a credited animation team, with AI image processing, and calls the result hybrid 3D animation. That makes it a useful counterexample to fully prompted shorts: the action is staged and performed, and the generative layer sits on top of it. The premise of a squad, a target and a weapon that turns on its operator gives that pipeline a clear dramatic line across nearly twelve minutes.
The Chroma Awards gallery lists it as the first-place winner in Film - Action & Adventure in Season 1.
Production evidence
The credits are extensive for performance capture and VFX roles, but the AI models are not named, and the only declared tool is Adobe’s suite. The film plays on the studio’s Vimeo account, which the organiser’s page links; no YouTube release was found on Junky Cream’s channel. This entry relies on the organiser’s synopsis and credits; the journal has not watched the complete film.
