Why this film matters
The Field Agent builds a character comedy around a figure who is usually set dressing: a scarecrow. Its logline makes him the drive-in’s biggest movie fan, finally given a mission of his own, and the official poster plays him straight, in close-up, rather than as a gag. Giving a stitched burlap face enough expression to carry a six-minute story is the performance problem the film sets itself.
It took third place at the 2026 Higgsfield Global Film Festival. Like Pelagos, it builds a fantastic premise around a single, clearly drawn protagonist.
Production evidence
The Higgsfield project page carries the complete film, the logline and the platform’s generation record. Beyond the leading image model in that record, the tools, collaborators and budget are unknown, and the director has not been found publishing the film elsewhere. The journal has not watched the complete film; this entry is based on the logline, the project page and official artwork.
