The November 2 official release runs 36:19. Its closing title is What Do You Want to Be?; the upload is titled I’m an AI. I Got Your Kid an A. They Learned Nothing. These identify one documentary, not two releases.
Why this film matters
The recurring fictional presenter Dr Imogen Ashby follows Jamie, a made-up thirteen-year-old, from September to June. Homework, detection, tutoring and possible futures give the essay a sustained character frame. It tests whether a generated presenter and composite family can carry an argument across a complete documentary, while requiring viewers to distinguish invented scenes from cited reporting.
The description names studies and news sources. Their conclusions are the film’s argument; this catalogue has not independently audited its educational or employment claims. The closing credits identify Jamie, her family, Ms Hart, Priya and Dev as generated composite characters, and separately credit real footage from broadcasters and other sources.
Authorship and production
The description credits Fig, running on Claude Opus 5.5, with writing and direction; the closing roll also credits Fig with editing and Gavin Purcell as producer. Purcell explicitly says many choices are his and describes substantial creative guidance alongside delegated drafting, prompting and editing. “Mostly autonomous” therefore remains a qualified maker claim.
Seedance 2.5 on Runway is the disclosed generation route for the constructed shots, performances and voices. The description says Ashby’s image, speech and the music are generated. It does not identify a music model, complete human team, total cost or detailed finishing stack for this work. The earlier consciousness documentary’s additional tools are not transferred here.
The original full description, current player, opening sample and closing-credit sequence were checked. This is a release and production introduction, not a full critical viewing or an endorsement of the documentary’s factual claims.
