Why this series matters
Set in Japan after the economic bubble, The Reformation Room / 回心部屋 follows a corporate fixer who persuades employees to surrender their jobs. Exile to the warehouse where unwanted workers are sent makes his own actions harder to keep at a distance. A tragedy and an act of kindness give the office procedures a moral weight.
The vertical format is used for an accumulating psychological drama rather than an isolated workplace scene. The official portfolio credits Luke Mazey and links 15 episodes; the October 6 finale explicitly closes the first season. The watch button starts with the original July 4 first episode. Its 43-second player and the finale’s 1:16 player have different lengths, so no single runtime is assigned to the whole series.
The Austin AI Film Festival names it the 2026 Series winner, announced October 17. This is exhibition context, not this journal’s review of every instalment. Original episode descriptions, current players, the finale’s available captions and the creator’s catalogue were checked. The series addresses workplace abuse and suicide.
