Why follow this studio
WAI Studio produced Garden of Kin, a Lunar New Year’s Eve comedy in which a family drinking game turns into an airing of grievances. It won first place in Chroma Awards Season 1’s Comedy & Mockumentary category. The credits name director Yang Xuan, screenwriter Li Yinqian and art directors Li Ting and Huang Chao, with a four-person voice cast and pingtan music. Much of the film’s comedy rests on dialogue and dialect, an unusual emphasis for AI shorts.
The film is available on the Richin YouTube channel, which also hosts WAI Studio-branded commissions; that channel is used here as the public release source. Who runs it and the studio’s wider portfolio were not verified.
