Three more ways into Bucheon’s 2026 programme

Big Ball uses a Wall Street trader to explore what happens when a character starts to question the reality a film has built for him. Let There Be Light shifts between styles from cinema history as its protagonist moves through simulated memories. The 75-minute Ask Me Anything sends a participant through worlds shaped by fear. Each has a filmmaker page and an official BIFAN still. The catalogue records their festival screenings while public full-film links remain unverified.

Following the work beyond the award

Chairman, Studio 011’s narrative winner at AI Film Festival Japan, builds a comedy around a man who can turn into a chair. WAIFF’s release of RendAI-vous gives viewers a way into Marius Doicov’s short about a courtship disrupted by technology. And in Soulless, a robot dog helps an injured jazz pianist recover what a driverless car took away. The film is available through its original Higgsfield project.
