Why it matters

Isaac Ward’s attempt to save his son ties historical combat environments to a continuing moral bargain. The filmmaking question is whether one emotional thread survives changes of period, geography and action scale. This is a serial narrative to examine, not simply a montage of expensive-looking locations.

Artlist records a private London premiere on August 18, after production from April to August. The making-of describes moodboards and period references, plus a practical audio fix: exporting one scene at a time when accents became inconsistent. Its commercial backing is part of the production context.

In the AI Creator Day discussion, the filmmakers describe splitting scripts into parallel page blocks from Episode 3. A first-episode turnaround of three and a half weeks should not be mistaken for the entire series schedule. The event account’s $15,000 Seedance-credit figure and the later interview’s broader $38,000 credit figure have different stated scopes; neither is a verified all-in budget.

Original release, available playback and production accounts checked; no complete critical viewing is claimed. Exact video-model versions and a full crew list remain undisclosed.

Credit support, not total budget

The filmmakers report roughly $38,000 in Artlist-supplied AI credits. Stewart says team members received their full day rates; labour is not included in that credit figure.

Named collaborators

Artlist names Happy Monday Labs for production, Kids Don’t Know for post, and Simone Ferretti / Artlist as executive producers. This is not a complete team count.
