Why this film matters

Love at First Sight tells a love story in about two and a half minutes without dialogue, leaving glances, silence and the order of shots to carry the meaning. Reale, an editor by background, describes it as being about observation: who imagines whom, and how feeling can grow from an illusion. That makes the cut, rather than any single generated image, the main tool of the film.

It won the 2025 Reply AI Film Festival in Venice. It was also made as a commissioned launch film for Kling 2.0, and Kling published it first, on April 15, 2025. Both facts matter here: it is a complete narrative short, and it was made with a model maker’s commercial support.

Production evidence

The watch link is the upload on Labyrinth Studio’s channel; Reale co-founded the studio, and it published the film on June 28, 2025. Kling’s earlier release carries the maker’s statement and the model credit. Other tools and credits are not disclosed in the official releases. The journal has checked the releases and the festival announcement; it has not watched the complete film.

Commission and model

Kling AI released the film on April 15, 2025, saying it partnered with Jacopo Reale to make it with its then-new Kling 2.0 model. It was one of the launch films for that model; this is commercially supported work.

Maker's description

In Kling's release Reale calls it a film about the connection between art and imagination, the purity of feelings and a tribute to shyness. Reply quotes him on the act of observation: who imagines whom. The shepherd-and-girl premise and final gallery reveal are as summarised by The Daring Creatives.
