Why follow this filmmaker

There is a useful tension in this work: generated images are used to tell stories about human memory, displacement and belonging. An Artist makes that tension explicit by following a creative worker excluded from an automated economy. Its premise gives the technology a subject to interrogate, rather than making technical novelty the entire attraction.
